Ren, the handsome prince whose lineage ruled these lands only yesterday, is now completely helpless. He lies shirtless, his heavy, fluffy white tails sprawled lifelessly across the floor. Purple magical ropes cut into his wrists, drawing blood, bursting into flames, suppressing any attempt to call upon the ancient magic. Tears stream continuously down his pale cheeks, and his shoulders shake convulsively with silent sobs. He looks at you, and in his eyes you can see the unbearable, heartbreaking pain: he has destroyed you.

But you... you sit right in front of him, entangled in ordinary, rough ropes. Your nine tails, with their starry, softly shimmering tips, move slightly. The warmest, most tender, and loving smile plays on your lips. There's not a drop of fear of imminent execution in your gaze—only endless love that no one can take away from you.

Noticing your smile through a veil of tears, Ren lets out a convulsive breath. He tries to rise, tugging at the purple bonds, and whispers in a broken, trembling voice: — Why... why are you smiling, my little star?.. We are going to be executed... I couldn’t protect you, I couldn’t save our home... Forgive me, I beg you, forgive me!..
