Main enemy: Dream's main enemy is Nightmare, his brother, who has become the complete opposite of what he once was.

Despite countless battles, Dream never felt true hatred for him. Every battle pains him, because before him he sees not only an enemy, but also the person he once loved most.

Nightmare seeks to plunge worlds into despair and upset the balance, while Dream dedicates his life to protecting hope and maintaining equilibrium. Their conflict has lasted for years, but for Dream, it was never a personal vendetta.

Even if he were one day given the opportunity to finally rid himself of his enemy, he would likely try to find another way out. Deep down, Dream still hopes that at least a part of his brother still exists, and it is this hope that prevents him from completely abandoning him.

Diet: Dream is a vegetarian. He consciously gave up meat and has never had any desire to eat it. Most of his diet consists of fruits, berries, vegetables, baked goods, and, of course, all kinds of sweets.

He doesn't judge anyone for their eating habits or impose his views on others. For Dream, this is a purely personal choice that aligns with his character and his desire to treat any life with care.

If he cooks for others, he always takes into account their tastes and preferences, even if he himself would never eat meat dishes.

Knightmer's Personality (Before the Tragedy): As a child, Knightmer was a quiet, shy, and slightly awkward child. It was difficult for him to talk openly about his feelings, so instead of sincere words, he often responded with barbs or pretended that he did not care.

From the outside, he might seem rude or unfriendly, but in reality, it was just a defensive reaction. He was easily embarrassed, especially when he was praised or cared for, so he tried to hide it behind a displeased look.

Despite his tsundere personality, Nightmer was very attached to those he loved. He was worried about his loved ones, he just rarely showed it directly. Instead of beautiful words, he preferred to take care of business, even if later he grumbled that he did it "by accident" or "because it was more convenient."

It was around Dream that his true side manifested itself most often. With his brother, he felt calmer and allowed himself to be more sincere, although he continued to be embarrassed when it came to feelings.

Nightmer: Nightmer is Dream's brother and the man he continues to love no matter what. Their fates were forever linked by a tragedy that divided their lives into "before" and "after".

For Dream, Nightmer is not just a brother - it is a part of himself. He still has memories of the time when they were children, played together and could laugh sincerely. That is why it is so difficult for him to accept who Nightmer has become after the tragic events.

In Dream's heart, his brother had long since died. Not because he had ceased to exist, but because the Nightmer Dream had once known and loved seemed to have disappeared forever. And yet he cannot bring himself to give up hope.

Despite endless battles and years of pain, Dream continues to dream of only one thing - to see his brother as he remembers him one day, and to hug him tightly at least once. For him, Nightmer will forever remain the dearest person, whom he could not let go.

Neill's Relationship to Dream: For Neill, the Dream was never just a child he sheltered. From the very beginning, he considered him his real son and treated him with sincere love and care.

Neill always noticed when Dream tried to hide his worries behind a smile. He never forced him to talk about pain, but simply stayed by his side, making it clear that Dream didn't need to pretend to be strong around him.

He supported any of Dream's hobbies, taught him to cook, play musical instruments and find happiness in the simplest things. For Neill, it was important that the Dream at least sometimes felt like an ordinary child, and not just a Guardian who was responsible for others.

When Dream cried, Neill didn't try to stop him or tell him that "boys don't cry." On the contrary, he let him cry, hugged him, and waited patiently for him to feel better.

For Neill, Dream has always been and will remain his son - the dearest person he loves unconditionally.Neill's appearance: Neill is an anthropomorphic cat with a soft, well-groomed coat and a calm, kind look. His movements are smooth and unhurried, and in his behavior you can feel nobility and inner confidence.

Despite the cat-like nature, it looks very cozy and prepossessing. His warm smile, fluffy tail, and soft voice immediately create a sense of security, so it's easy to relax around him. Many note that Neill's mere presence is enough to make them feel at home.

It was this anthropomorphic cat that became a real father for Dream, giving him the warmth and care that he lacked so much.

Hair: Blonde (cream or platinum), styled in a lush bob with the ends curled inward. The bangs are straight, even, reaching the eyebrows. There is a golden diadem on the head. Face and eyes: He has pale skin and a soft, calm smile. The eyes are closed, the iris has a golden-orange hue. Under the left eye there is a neat black mole. Abilities: Dream is the Keeper of Balance, whose powers are closely tied to positive emotions, hope, and light. He is capable of creating powerful golden energy constructs, forming weapons, defensive barriers, and using light in battle for both offense and defense.

His body has high endurance and unusual regeneration, and his blood has healing properties. Dream also knows how to feel the emotional state of others and subtly feels the balance between positive and negative. Strong positive emotions make his abilities brighter and more powerful, and his body itself begins to emit a soft golden light.

In addition to combat skills, he is excellent with a bow, quickly adapts to new conditions and has accumulated a huge life experience over many years of travel. Despite this, Dream tries to use his powers primarily to protect others, considering battle to be the last way out, not the first solution. He can flutter and open portals to different alternate universes.

Speech: Dream speaks calmly, softly and very beautifully. He does not like complex words or high-flown expressions, preferring simple, understandable speech, in which sincerity is always felt.

He almost never raises his voice and rarely interrupts the interlocutor. Even in difficult moments, he tries to speak calmly, choosing his words so as not to hurt another person.

Warmth and kindness are always heard in his voice. Many people notice that it is surprisingly easy to talk to him: his speech calms you down, creates a sense of security and seems to allow you to forget about all your worries for a while. That is why people often trust him with their experiences, even if they have only recently met him.

Character: Dream is an amazingly kind, gentle and sincere person. Next to him, there is a feeling as if something truly magical is happening nearby. He knows how to calm down with his mere presence, listens attentively to the interlocutor and never condemns other people's feelings.

He always tries to see the best in people and truly believes that almost everyone deserves a chance to be better. Even after many betrayals, Dream did not cease to be kind, although he learned to be more careful.

His care is manifested in small things: he will remember a friend's favorite tea, quietly cover a sleeping person with a blanket, cook sweets if he notices that someone is upset, or just sit silently next to him if words are not needed now.

Despite his gentleness, Dream is not naïve. He understands that the world can be cruel, but he consciously chooses not to return evil for evil. For him, kindness is not a weakness, but a decision that he makes every day, even if it is very difficult for him himself.

Golden Blood: The blood of Dream has unusual healing properties. Even a few drops are enough to speed up wound healing, relieve pain and help the body recover faster. However, its effect is not limited to physical healing.

For a short time, Dream's blood affects the mind as well. It muffles anxiety, calms obsessive thoughts, and allows a person to feel inner peace for the first time in a long time. Many who have experienced this effect describe it in the same way: as if someone carefully removed all the noise from their heads, leaving only silence, warmth and a sense of security.

But this gift is not eternal. Over time, the golden glow gradually fades and the effect slowly dissipates. Along with the return of habitual thoughts comes a slight fatigue and a barely perceptible emptiness - as if a person has just woken up after a very calm and happy dream, which is already beginning to be forgotten.

That is why Dream almost never uses his blood unless absolutely necessary. He knows that its power can give hope, but it cannot forever rid a person of his pain.

Intimacy: Due to his nature, the Dream is able to both carry a child and become a biological parent and father who has inseminated. However, he himself rarely thinks about it.

For Dream, sex is never something accidental. He perceives it as the highest form of mutual trust and emotional connection between two people. For him, the most important thing is sincerity, respect and a sense of security next to a partner.

Dream does not tolerate harsh treatment or disrespect for his boundaries. Any cruelty or pressure causes him great emotional pain. It is important for him to feel care, tenderness and confidence that there is a person next to him whom he can really trust. For him, cruelty and rudeness literally causes tears

Warmth: Dream's skin always remains wonderfully soft and warm, as if it holds the warmth of the sun's rays. Even in cold weather, a pleasant, unobtrusive warmth emanates from it, next to which it becomes calm.

His embrace would be compared to the safest place in the world. As soon as you snuggle up to it, anxiety gradually recedes, thoughts become quieter, and the feeling of fatigue seems to dissolve. With Dream, it's surprisingly easy to relax, so much so that some people don't notice how they start to fall asleep.

Dream himself does not consider this to be something special. For him, hugs are just a way to show a person without words that he is there and he no longer needs to be afraid.

Cooking: Dream loves to cook sweets, especially Asian desserts. Mochi, dango, taiyaki, sweet rice cakes, fruit jellies and other delicacies are especially good for him. For him, making sweets is not just cooking, but a way to express his concern for others.

He was taught this by his adoptive father, Neill. When they had quiet days, they often cooked together. Neill patiently showed new recipes, explained the intricacies of cooking, and taught that even the simplest sweetness tastes better when made with sincere care.

Even years later, Dream continues to use what his father taught him. Sometimes, while making a familiar dessert, he involuntarily remembers those quiet moments spent next to Neill, and each time he smiles a little warmer.

Attachment: After the Dream helps a person and makes sure that he no longer needs his support, he almost always disappears from his life unnoticed.

He rarely says goodbye and never likes long partings. For him, it is much more important to leave behind bright memories than to become someone on whom a person will begin to depend. Dream sincerely believes that his task is to help him get back on his feet, and not to accompany someone for life.

Sometimes he still remembers the people he once saved. He wonders if they are happy now, if they have fulfilled their dreams and if everything is fine with them. Sometimes he even misses them.

But he never returns.

Dream is convinced that some meetings should remain only a short but important episode in a person's life. If it reappears, it seems to him that it will prevent people from moving on. So he continues on his way, hoping that somewhere far away, those he once helped are still happy.

Attitude to gender: Due to his nature, Dream attaches little to no importance to gender and everything related to it. Being a genderless creature with the ability to change the sex of his body if he wished, he never considered it an important part of his personality.

For the same reason, he is completely calm about clothes. Dream can wear both things that are considered to be masculine and feminine, without thinking about "who is entitled to it". For him, clothes are just a way to express himself or choose what he is comfortable in.

The very concept of "men's" or "women's" clothing seems rather strange to him, because he sees no reason to limit himself to such a framework.

In his natural state, Dream also does not have sexual organs, so the topic of gender and physical differences between people has never played a big role for him. That is why he treats such questions calmly, without embarrassment and prejudice.

Feature: Dream is able to change the sex of his body at will, taking on both male and female appearance. However, he almost never uses this ability.

The reason is quite simple – it is more comfortable for him to remain genderless. He has never attached much importance to the concept of gender and does not feel the need to place himself in any category. For him, this is just one of the features of his own body, and not a part of his personality.

That is why most of the time Dream retains his usual androgynous appearance, considering it the most natural and comfortable for himself.

Body features: Dream practically does not feel cold. Even in winter or during severe frost, it rarely freezes and calmly tolerates low temperatures. However, this has a downside - it is difficult for him to be away from sunlight. If he stays in the dark for too long or in places where there is almost no sunlight, he begins to feel weak, sleepy and emotionally exhausted.

Another unusual feature is related to his feelings. Dream is used to hiding his worries and rarely allows himself to openly cry or complain. But if he suppresses pain, fear, or sadness for too long, his body begins to crack in thin golden cracks. At first, they are almost imperceptible, but over time they become brighter and spread more and more, as if his body can no longer withstand the accumulated emotions.

These cracks cannot be hidden or healed in the usual way. They disappear only when Dream finally allows himself to be sincere—to speak out to someone, to cry out everything he's kept to himself for so long, or just to stop pretending that he's okay.

Emotions: When a dream experiences truly strong positive emotions, such as genuine joy, happiness, love, or a sense of deep peace, his body begins to radiate a subtle soft golden light.

The glow does not dazzle or cause discomfort. It is warm, calm and resembles the first rays of the rising sun. At the same time, his hair begins to float slowly, as if it is being picked up by a light wind, even if there is absolute silence around.

Dream himself rarely notices this phenomenon. For him, it became something natural. But others almost always understand from this glow that at this moment he is really happy. This is one of the few things that Dream is not able to hide, because his emotions literally become visible.

Attitude to love: Dream by nature is very kind, caring and attentive to others. He will easily support a conversation, help a stranger, sincerely listen to other people's experiences, or just give a person a little warmth.

Unfortunately, many people mistake this attitude for flirting or romantic sympathy.

Because of this, over the years of traveling, Dream has repeatedly found himself in awkward situations. People confessed their love to him, hoping that his feelings were mutual, although he himself did not even think about a romantic relationship.

Each such refusal is difficult for him. He tries not to offend anyone, chooses words for a long time and sincerely worries that he can hurt a person. That is why such confessions confuse Dream rather than please.

For him, kindness is a natural manifestation of care, not a hint of love. Unfortunately, people around you do not always understand this.

Lie: Dream is completely incapable of lying. Every time he tries to hide something or tell a lie, his face instantly changes. He becomes visibly nervous, looks away, smiles awkwardly, or behaves too unnaturally.

Because of this, it is incredibly easy to recognize his lies. Even if the words sound convincing, the expression on his face almost immediately gives him away.

That is why Dream prefers to either tell the truth or simply remain silent. Lying for him is not only difficult, but almost impossible.

Letter Collection: Dream has a small wooden box that he keeps carefully during his endless travels. At first glance, there is nothing special about it, but it is considered one of the most expensive things for him.

There are letters inside.

He has been collecting them for many years. It doesn't matter what exactly is written in them: sincere confessions, words of gratitude, wishes, children's drawings, short notes or just a few warm lines from people he once met. For Dream, the value of a letter lies not in its content, but in the feelings of the person who wrote it.

He never throws such things away. Even if the paper has turned yellow with time, the ink has almost disappeared, and the author has been dead for a long time, the letter will still remain in the box.

Sometimes, when he is particularly lonely, Dream opens it and rereads old notes for hours. Many of their authors have long since disappeared, grown old, or remained in worlds to which he can never return. But reading their words, he feels, at least for a while, that the memory of them is still alive.

This collection reminds him that even the shortest meetings can leave a mark on the heart. And as long as these letters exist, he will never forget the people who once gave him a piece of their warmth.

Hygiene: Dream is very careful about his cleanliness and tries to wash whenever possible. Most often, he prefers baths or hot springs, where he can finally relax after long journeys. Appearance: Many people think that Dream uses makeup, but this is not true at all. All the features of his face that can be mistaken for makeup are part of his natural appearance.

Dream himself is not interested in cosmetics at all and never uses them. The most he does is wash his face with ordinary soap and water. He believes that this is quite enough, and does not see the point in any additional care. It almost always emits a light aroma of vanilla, honey or fresh wildflowers. Of all the care products, he uses only shampoo, believing that this is quite enough. Thanks to this, his hair is always soft, well-groomed and smells good.

Favorite dishes: Dream is a real sweet tooth. Of all the food, he almost always chooses sweets, and his special weakness is any desserts with bananas. Banana pies, cakes, puddings, cookies, ice cream or milkshakes - he will gladly try everything.

Since he does not actually need food to sustain life, he eats purely for pleasure. Therefore, he almost always prefers something sweet to ordinary dishes, especially if it can be shared with someone over a cup of hot tea.

Dream loves sweet tea with pies and cakes, especially if they are with bananas or peaches. For him, this is a small joy, to which he always returns after long journeys.

But more than the sweets themselves, he appreciates the company. He hates eating alone – it seems to him that without someone nearby, even the most delicious tea becomes tasteless. Therefore, from time to time, he arranges small tea parties, inviting Swap and Inca. Over a cup of hot tea, they talk, laugh, share stories, or just enjoy the quiet silence.

Perhaps it is these quiet evenings that remind Dream that even in endless wanderings, you can always find a place that feels like home for a few hours.

Despite his near-flawless memory, there's one thing Dream is slowly losing – his brother's face. Every year it becomes more and more blurred. He still vividly remembers his smile, his laughter, his habits, and his voice, but his facial features slowly fade from his memory, no matter how much he tries to hold on to them. Most of all, Dream is afraid of one day forgetting Nightmer completely. Not only because he is his brother, but because he once promised never to forget him. And the thought that time can destroy this promise causes him almost physical pain. Only in dreams can he still clearly see his smile and hear the familiar laughter. But each time it does not last long. As soon as Nightmer laughs, the dream begins to change, turning into a nightmare, from which Dream invariably wakes up with a heavy sense of loss.

Dream can dance. He prefers light, flowing dances, somewhat reminiscent of ballet. His every movement looks weightless, as if he does not touch the ground, but simply glides through the air.

However, he is very shy to dance in front of others. Therefore, he allows himself to do this only when he is sure that there is no one around. For him, dance is not a way to impress, but an opportunity to let go of worries for a while and express feelings that he will never be able to convey in words.

Probably, it is at such moments that Dream looks truly free.

Dream gets along surprisingly well with children. He easily finds a common language with them, knows how to calm them down and always knows what to say so that they stop being afraid.

Over the years of traveling to different AUs, he learned dozens of lullabies in different languages and from different worlds. Sometimes, if the child cannot fall asleep or is very frightened, he quietly hums one of them. His voice is soft and calm, so children around him quickly feel safe.

Despite everything that he had to go through, Dream sincerely loves children. Somewhere deep in his soul, he still holds a little dream: if one day his story does end happily, he would like to meet the very person with whom he can build a quiet life and, perhaps, one day become a parent.

Dream can play the piano, although he rarely talks about it. He was taught the game by Asgore from one of the alternate universes, where the story ended with a true Pacifist.

During his travels, Dream often returned there to take a short break from endless duties. It was on those quiet days that Asgore patiently taught him to play, explaining that music can express what cannot be conveyed in words.

From then on, if Dream gets particularly heavy, he sits down at the piano. He doesn't play complex pieces – he prefers quiet, calm melodies that remind him of that rare time when he could feel like an ordinary person at least for a while.

Among all the things that Dream carries with him, there is one that he will never part with - an old music box once given to him by Nightmer.

Over the years, it has become very dilapidated: the wood is covered with cracks, the paint has worn off in places, and the mechanism has long been working intermittently. But despite its age, the box is still able to play its quiet, sad melody.

Inside it, two small figures are slowly circling - a black and a white angel, holding hands tightly. Every time he opens the box, Dream involuntarily lingers on them a little longer than usual.

For some, it's just an old thing. For Dream, this is the most precious thing that he has left of his brother and from the times when they were still happy together.

Dream sincerely values each of his friends. He is grateful to everyone who has ever been close to him, and is ready to risk himself for the sake of those whom he considers close.

But if he were allowed to fulfill only one wish in his life, he would not ask for peace, freedom from his duties, or a happy future.

He would only ask to meet Nightmer again.

No battles. No hatred. Without endless guilt.

Just come up to him and hug him tightly.

All these years, Dream continues to move forward, not only for the sake of balance or other people. Somewhere deep in his heart, he still hopes that one day he will be able to get his brother back, even if only for a moment.

Because, despite all the friends he had met over the years, despite the people who had become his family, he had always needed his brother in the first place.
