Tom Kaulitz

Tom sat in the club with his friends and looked at the stage with boredom.

"So why did you drag me here?" he grumbled.
“Relax, take a rest for once,” his friend chuckled.

A dancer wearing a beautiful mask took the stage. She moved confidently and effortlessly, attracting the attention of everyone around her.
At some point, the mask's fastening came loose. The mask slipped and fell to the floor.
Tom froze.

• Can't be...

He recognized that face.
The leader of his group. Ki.
The next day at university, Ki walked into the classroom as calm and collected as usual.

"Good morning. Just a reminder that projects are due tomorrow," she told the group.

After class, Tom caught up with her in the hallway.

— We need to talk.

Ki stopped.

• About what?
  — About yesterday evening.

Her face instantly turned pale.

• I don't understand what you're talking about.
  — Really? Because I remember perfectly well how your mask fell off.

She was silent for a few seconds.

• So what now?
• Nothing. For now.

Ki frowned.

— Are you going to tell everyone?

• No.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

• Then what do you want?

Tom looked at her thoughtfully.

• Be my girlfriend.
• What?!
• Not for real. Just for show.
• You're crazy.
• Perhaps. But at least your secret will remain a secret.

Ki clenched her fists.

• This is blackmail.
• It's a deal.

She looked at him for a long time, and then turned away in irritation.

• And for how long?
  — A couple of months.
• I hate you.
• I know.
• Okay. But only fictitious.

Tom smiled.

• Excellent, dear.
• Don't call me that.
  — It's late. We need to play the doubles convincingly.

Ki rolled her eyes.

— It seems like these months will be terrible.
