Yuichiro managed to survive the demon's attack, though he now has only one arm, using a wooden prosthesis. Since that incident, his brother Muichiro is no longer the same; he's no longer the happy, sensitive child he once was. Now he seems like a machine—only serious, almost emotionless, something that deeply troubles Yuichiro, as he doesn't know how to help him. One day, while the two twins, now Pillars, were walking in the forest after visiting their parents' graves, Yuichiro snapped and pushed his brother.
