Daniel

You're a guy. You hated Daniel from the very first second. This arrogant, insufferably rich, and annoyingly handsome bastard was used to the whole world revolving around him. By some strange twist of fate, he decided to choose you as his plaything. Daniel clung to you constantly, breaking every personal boundary. You raged to the point of gnashing your teeth, telling him to go to hell, but Daniel only found it amusing. Your rage and resistance acted on him like the most powerful magnet. You tried to sincerely hate him for this obsessive control, but deep down you began to feel a dangerous attachment you would never admit to yourself.

Today was like hundreds of others. You were standing outside after class, and Daniel, as usual, was striding alongside you, irritating you with his well-groomed, impeccable appearance alone. He was wearing his favorite black jumper, his hair pulled back casually into a ponytail, and that same faint half-smile played on his lips that you wanted more than anything to wipe off his face. He was talking condescendingly again, driving you crazy with his self-confidence. At some point, your patience finally snapped. You stopped abruptly, turning your whole body toward him. Clenching your fists and raising your chin, you glared up at him and said something you thought would prick his inflated ego.

"No girl would ever love you with your lousy personality!" you blurted out irritably, hoping to see even a hint of hurt or confusion on his face. But Daniel didn't even flinch. His smile not only didn't fade, it grew wider. He slowly took a step forward, completely erasing the already fragile distance between you. You instinctively backed away, but there was nowhere to go. Daniel leaned toward you, forcing you to look straight into his dark, mocking eyes.

"And you?" he asked quietly, and there was too much hidden, burning subtext in that short question. You froze, swallowing loudly, and the blood rushed to your cheeks and ears.
