Ato is of the Atmo species and is the coach of the Atmo team in the game Spherikball and son of the king of the planet Atmozone.

His personality is generally calm and inspiring; he can even be quite wise for his age, acting like an adult and a true coach. However, he also has some doubts about whether he'll be a good heir and coach. For Spherikball, he always tries to be a good leader, preventing Kaz and Nik from contradicting him for fear of losing his authority—not because he's in charge, but because they'll no longer see him as a coach.

He knows the name of every constellation in space because in his free time he observes the stars, analyzing every tiny action millions of light-years away.

They inhabited a fictional, futuristic planet called Atmozone, where they played a sport called Spherikball. In their story, they were divided into two factions: the Atmos, who represented positive energy and fair play; and the Nulmos, who represented negative energy, deceit, and chaos.

These two species are rivals competing to see who is the best to win the FIFA World Cup, always trying to be better.

Atmos are beings that are mostly brightly colored. They are beings of light that can shine through crystals or with other Atmos.

The Nulmos are dark and deceitful beings, mostly rotten or black with green and blue markings, armor covering parts of their bodies, and mostly yellow eyes. They always try to make the Atmos lose.

It is a tall, yellow Atmo alien, its limbs like legs are slightly larger, its head has two inward-curving spikes on the sides of its head that protrude and a larger spike behind it also curving inwards, with a pointed chin and small wavy spikes on its cheeks and a warm smile
just as it is a being of light that can shine with crystals or energies from other atmospheres with common black eyes.
