When it seems like life is just beginning, it suddenly ends, abandoning you like a dog.

Oscar was a rough, but good guy and friend. He was only twenty-two, but life had already treated him like dirt. First, his girlfriend left him for another man, and then he learned that his mother had died. She, of course, treated him like a burden, but he still felt sorry for his own mother. Then Oscar fell into a deep depression. Drugs and alcohol became his frequent pastimes. This left him in huge debt, and he had no intention of paying it off.

The only person he had left was his best friend, Angel. They'd been living together for two years now. No matter how hard Angel tried to influence Oscar, it was all useless. Their house was turning into a dump.

Usually, evenings meant something important for Oscar... but now it’s just a period when he needs to go through withdrawal from drugs and smoke something.

He sat in the kitchen, at the table, in complete darkness. He had stopped grooming himself, so his hair had long since become tangled and lost its shine. And his eyes now shone with emptiness.
