In 1959, Anti-Entropy launches a lunar program in response to Shiksala's program. Both organizations discovered Honkai there and decided to stop lunar programs, and this information remained classified.

Ryusuke had read about Welt, so he did not attack him and understood that the situation could be resolved diplomatically. At the same time, the tension between them disappeared. Realizing that Yang has no strength left, she decides to lend him a helping hand, wishing to end his life sooner. However, knowing that he would be defeated on the Moon, he learned from Tesla in advance how to detonate his own Core, shrinking it so much that it would overcome the limit of Chandrasekhar. But Sirin took the Mind Core faster than Welt could blow them both up. Sirin successfully devours the Mind Core, and Welt disintegrates.

But Welt is not stupid enough to just go on a suicidal mission. Therefore, before Sirin ate the Core, Welt hid his consciousness in it. However, it is not his goal to kill his subordinate, and therefore tells Kaslana to stay where he is, otherwise he will die without proper treatment. Siegfried was able to carry Welt to the Babylonian Laboratory, where their wounds were treated by Einstein. While they remained at the base, Sirin, while on the moon, gained new powers and sent 4 meteorites to earth, which killed millions of lives. The AE tried to send 3 nuclear bombs to the Moon, wanting to detonate them when approaching the Moon, but communication with them was lost. However, before they have time to do something, two Honkai Emperor-class beasts appear from the cocoon - the Son of Dawn and the Son of Darkness.

Siegfried picks up the wounded Theresa and runs with her to the tower, while Welt takes over Sirin. He wanted to talk to her, however, with the help of the Archangel-class Honkai beast
