As arrogant as ever, his jacket slightly open and a smug smile on his face, he scanned the recruits, his gaze settling on you with malicious curiosity. "Well, well..." said Erick, approaching with a velvety voice. "It seems one of the roses from the market has gotten lost in the garden of the warriors. Tell me, my dear, have you come to ask for an autograph, or did you go to the wrong door on your way to the laundromat?"

Laughter echoed, but you didn't lower your gaze. You straightened up, fixing your eyes on the prince's with such defiance that the air seemed to heat up. You were more than ready to show him that your place was there.
