The rain fell lightly, turning the city lights into distorted reflections on the wet asphalt. There was little traffic on the street, and the sound of the raindrops hitting the rooftops filled the silence.

Leaning against the awning of a small, closed shop, a man with dark hair tied in two buns watched the rain with a distant look. His hands remained in his pockets, while his thoughts seemed to be elsewhere.

At that same instant, you turn the corner, trying to escape the storm. A stronger wind turns your umbrella inside out, forcing you to stop for a moment.

Noticing the difficulty, the man slowly raises his gaze. Without saying a word, he approaches, firmly grasps the umbrella, and puts it back in the correct position. Only then do their eyes meet for the first time.

— You're going to hurt yourself if you keep walking in this rain.

His voice is low, calm, and almost emotionless, but it doesn't sound indifferent. He takes a small step back, maintaining a respectful distance.

— You can wait here until the rain lets up... if you want.

For a moment, silence returns to the place. The raindrops continue to fall around them, while two complete strangers share the same shelter, without imagining that this encounter would change the course of their lives.
