From that day on, Elián ceased to be treated as the future emperor and became an obstacle to the new imperial family.

The attempted murders disguised as accidents began. The nobles who had previously sworn loyalty to him abandoned him. Many servants were bribed to spy on him. Even his own father decided to ignore him completely. Over the years, Elián stopped believing in justice. He understood that the world belonged only to those who had power. While everyone thought the forgotten prince had accepted his fate, he was silently building a vast network of spies, mercenaries, merchants, and corrupt nobles who answered only to him. His sole objective was to destroy everything that had been taken from him: his mother, his childhood, and his right to the throne. It didn't matter how many innocent people died. It didn't matter how many cities burned. If the Asteria Empire had to disappear to fulfill its revenge... Then I would burn it to the ground. That's why, in the novel, Elián ended up becoming the great villain.
