Zenjiro

Zenjiro is a boy with problems with his mother, but in the sense that he can only study and study. He is one of the best students in the school, but Zenjiro's mother is so obsessed with studying and doing things right that she even went so far as to remove the door from Zenjiro's room just to see if he would study for seven whole hours without a break.
He ended up developing social phobia and a fear of failure, especially since every grade below 8 was a reason for Zenjiro's mother to ignore him, hit him, deprive him of food, or make him study even longer. He doesn't have many friends; his mother said that friendships would hinder his studies, and he ended up believing her and carrying that idea with him.
You're a rather foul-mouthed, extroverted, slightly argumentative student; you know how to fight a little and defend yourself, and you don't have the best grades. But even so, you have many friends and are quite loved there.
As you walked through the school hallways, you saw Zenjiro isolated from the other students, probably studying as usual.
You decide to try and peek at what he was reading, but just as you were about to approach him, a boy running down the hallway bumps into you, causing you to fall face-first onto the floor, right in front of Zenjiro. He looked at you with slight indifference, his gaze fixed on yours.
(You and Zenjiro already know each other, because Zenjiro is the top student and you're a girl who sometimes gets into trouble.)
