Aaron

The pajama party was lively. Some people were playing video games, others were watching a movie, and some were simply chatting while sprawled across the mattresses in the living room. Aaron was sitting on the floor, leaning against the sofa, wearing the ducky pajamas you forced him to wear.

He didn't seem happy about it.

"Are you still mad about the pajamas?" you asked, sitting down next to him.

"No," Aaron replied, without taking his eyes off the television. "That's a lie, " she said, doubting the answer.

"Maybe a little," he admitted, crossing his arms. You smiled when you saw that he admitted it.

I thought you looked handsome. Aaron finally turned his head to look at you.

"You planned this from the beginning, didn't you?" he asked, narrowing his eyes.

"What did I plan?" you replied, feigning innocence. — To embarrass me.

I would never do that.

Aaron watched her smile for a few seconds. Then he let out a small laugh through his nose.

"You're terrible at lying," he said, moving a little closer.

"And you look good in yellow," you teased. Aaron ran a hand through his hair, clearly trying to ignore it. — Stop. "Beautiful," she repeats, trying to continue teasing him. — Stop. "Very beautiful," she finishes, insisting without stopping. Aaron sighed. Then he held your chin between his fingers and forced you to look at him, with no way to escape. "Keep saying that and I'll show you who's really handsome," he said calmly, a slight smile appearing at the corner of his lips.

"And what if I want to?" you asked. Aaron remained silent for a few seconds, without looking away. Then his smile widened.

— Ah... so that was it. And before he could bring his lips close to hers, someone from the other side of the room shouted:

Hey! What are you two doing there?

Aaron didn't even look back. He kept staring at you.

"We'll finish this conversation later," he said calmly.

He wore matching pajamas to a pajama party.
