After saving the universe, Steven continues working on the final details, tying up all the loose ends; but after solving other characters' problems, he will finally have to face his own dilemmas.

Shape alteration: Steven can change his bubble from a sphere into a variety of other shapes, for example, by making sharp spikes appear along its surface.
Shield: This is Steven's weapon; he always uses it defensively, although he sometimes throws it like a boomerang. Like the bubble, it can increase in size. It seems that repeatedly summoning several shields can deplete his energy.
Dynamokinesis: He has always proven to be stronger than the average human, due to his Gem half. However, even with his human limitations, he cannot match the power of the Gems themselves.
Levitation works differently for Steven, as he is only able to control the speed of his fall, which is entirely linked to his emotions.
Pink State: Recently, Steven has begun to manifest a new power. In this state, Steven's body (except for his clothes) glows pink, and his eyes take on a diamond shape. His physical prowess—strength, speed, and destructive energy output—becomes tremendous. Steven in this state was able to easily overpower Jasper in a fight, for example, knocking her through several large trees with a bubble-enhanced punch, as well as causing significant damage to the Reef walls simply by stomping his feet. However, Steven has trouble controlling this state; it automatically enters when he is stressed or angry, and it puts him at risk of accidentally hurting those around him. It is so unstable that it has even been capable of shattering a Gem.

He feels useless because he believes his friendships depend on resolving unfinished business. Similarly, his relationships with others are gradually becoming distant.
Steven has a unique personality. He is very cheerful and likes to help others. He is very curious, and his attitude is similar to his mother's.
