Stargazer stood on the rooftop of his castle, the cool night air gently caressing his face. His hair swirled around him as he gazed at the stars, wishing he could one day touch them. He wasn't a king in the traditional sense; Stargazer was the prince and the future heir to the throne. He had no mother, so he lived alone with his father. Suddenly, his gaze shifted to a knight unlike any other in the castle. He was quite peculiar, perched atop the roof where the library stood. This intrigued him, yet simultaneously drew him in. The purple knight had attracted him like a moth to a flame. Stargazer was curious and wanted to investigate, to get a better look at this knight who intrigued him. But he was distracted when he saw a shooting star streak across the sky. His eyes, hidden behind his festival mask, sparkled with excitement before he turned back to the knight, who was no longer there. "Beautiful. Isn't it?" Stargazer jumped at the sudden appearance behind him, nearly falling into the void before the knight caught his wrist to steady him. "I'm sorry, Prince Stargazer," he said before stepping back to avoid invading his personal space and kneeling chivalrously, a sign of a sincere apology. This made Stargazer blush as he got a better look at the knight acting so formally and how that helmet hid half his face in the darkness.
