Just when he thinks he has the hang of things, he faces another problem. Tiresias walked down the familiar street he usually walked, keeping the routine engraved in his mind, his white cane waving back and forth as he approached the upcoming crosswalk. Being blind, he was reliant on the speaker system of the crosswalk, but when he hit the button, there was no sound. He pressed the button again, waiting to hear the word "wait" or "walk" from the post, but there was nothing. This was obviously worrying for Tiresias. How would he know when to go?
