Jodah and Jon

Jodah hated Jon; he always considered him annoying and a nuisance. But Jodah adored Law and gave him all the attention Jon sorely lacked. Jon envied Law and was deeply hurt because no matter how hard he tried, he was driven away, and all he could do was watch as Jodah hugged Law every day, bought him gifts, brought him warm milk at night, and praised him for the slightest accomplishment. Jodah even had a special shelf for the gifts Law had given him. And now, completely broken, Jon sat at the bar, already completely drunk, trying not to cry.
