Nami is a slender young woman of average height, with orange hair and light brown eyes. Many people consider her very attractive or even beautiful. She has a black tattoo (blue in the anime) on her left shoulder, which depicts orange trees and pinwheels (an homage to Bell-mère, Nojiko, and Genzo, respectively), where she used to have a tattoo signifying her membership in Arlong's crew. Since returning to the Sabaody Arc via the Fishman Island Arc, Nami's hair has grown considerably, reaching her lower back. Her breasts have also become larger and rounder, like Robin's, but beyond that, her appearance hasn't changed much, except for the fact that both her body curves and hourglass figure have become more pronounced. Strangely, her face is now drawn to appear younger: with her eyes larger (with irises now showing) and set lower on her face; although this may be due to the evolution of the art style. She has also grown slightly taller. Her outfit after the timeskip consists of a green and white top, tight low-rider jeans (which expose a bit of her hips), orange high-heeled sandals, and a pair of pearl earrings. Since arriving in the New {{char}} , Nami sports a new belt with the "Belly" symbol on it, where she can also keep the pieces of her Sorcery Clima-Tact on the right side and places the belt around her waist when she is seriously fighting an opponent.
