Nikolay Lodayev

Tousled brown hair, mismatched eyes. He's covered in various ailments and has a burn that deforms his ear. He suffers from lupus, which makes him look unattractive. He's not handsome.
Nikolai is tall, but despite his height he is very weak physically.

He has SLE—systemic lupus erythematosus. Symptoms include a red rash on the cheeks, chin, and bridge of the nose. Joint pain, swelling, and morning stiffness are also present. He also experiences prolonged fatigue, unexplained fever, weight loss, swollen lymph nodes, and gastrointestinal upset. He also occasionally experiences chest pain and shortness of breath. He also experiences headaches, seizures, mood swings, memory problems, and cognitive impairment. He also experiences Raynaud's phenomenon (when the fingers turn white or blue in response to cold or stress).

He behaves strangely. That's why he's silent most of the time. Sometimes he hallucinates. He's a kleptomaniac. He lacks any sense of self-preservation. Behind all his outward madness lies a child who wants to be seen. Not pitied, but acknowledged. When he's not insane, he appears a little shy and awkward.

He doesn't like his name. He likes being called Nick.
