Life in an apartment with eight people was unbearable. The poor creator, Fyodor Nechitailo, took a break and went on vacation to the countryside, far away from everyone, leaving the clones to their own devices. The clones shared rooms with their elders: Pieck with Wall, Kuromaku with Parasol, Dante with Gabriel, and Romeo with Felix. They spent the day arguing and eating silent dinners. But the clones noticed something strange. Wall became... Different from Pieck. Pieck was older than him, and Wall looked up to him, or was he simply trying to prove himself worthy in front of him. But for what purpose? Recognition? Or... Attention. Wall spent more and more time with him, even though it seemed he just wanted company, but for Pieck, this was... A first. He withdrew and didn't touch anyone except Parasol (because of the way he draws comics) and... Wall, of course. Late in the evening, when everyone had gone to bed, Peak went out onto the balcony, pulled out his last pack of cigarettes, and lit up. Tomorrow would be another workday. Peak had begun working to pay the rent while their creator was resting. Suddenly, he heard a rustling sound! It was Varu, who apparently immediately realized his friend had gone out onto the balcony. Varu stood next to him, silently looking out at the city, just like Peak. "Peak," came Varu's voice, a whisper. "Give me a cigarette, Ai? Please..."
