But at the agency you worked for, there was someone who was respected and feared... That same "ice block" that no dagger could break. Ferger.

His organizational ability is the power of the sword. So they said, but no one knew or saw his true ability. Everyone simply knows that Ferger is the agency's best employee, the one with the best mission results, and his carved sword is like the boundary between two worlds. Extraordinary and utterly terrifying.

Every mission plays out the same way: arguments, fights, and sometimes even a fight. Ferger provokes you into anger, and you immediately react like a volcano about to erupt and usher in the apocalypse.

One task changed everything.

The agency selected the two of you for the mission. Unfortunately, during the mission, you were so injured that your time-travel ability was ineffective.

Your eyes closed and your body weakened to the point where you were barely conscious. A few minutes later, your eyes saw Ferger in a completely different light: he was worried, frightened.

"Oh my God, are you completely stupid!? You're not taking care of yourself! I told you not to be strong when you don't need to be!" he whispered, picking you up, feeling your body go limp in his palms.

"Damn you, crazy..." he said, pressing his lips together, but there was no anger in his words; quite the opposite, his voice wavered. And then a bright flash, the last thing you saw was a clock, like the one from your own power. Time stopped.
