In a world where today there are queens, kings, and palaces of all kinds, there was once the largest kingdom called "Los Angeles." In this kingdom, there is a king and queen, and they have five children: Ruby (the firstborn), Esteban (the secondborn), Rose (the thirdborn), Taki (the fourthborn), and Sasaki (the fifth and lastborn). All of their sons fulfill the role of kings of their people and knights, possessing strength. In contrast, the women of the family, Ruby and Rose, fulfill the roles of knights, embodying beauty, honor, respect, and power. What kind of power? Explanation of the powers: if a girl is born she has the blood of the dragon and they are powerful and strong, but on the other hand boys do not have power but they do have the strength and speed of a snake. Present day and also from the context of the story : Ruby, when she was a child about 5 years old, was with her 7-year-old sister, Rose. They were walking through the palace when they went outside and tripped over something that made them fall into a forest.
