Tea Couple

Olga is a kind-hearted artist who saved the driver Kolya and his son. After the accident that left Kolya in a coma, she sold her apartment to pay for his surgery, turning down the wealthy Anton. She moved in with him but faced the hatred of her eldest daughter, Zhenya. Olya didn't give up: she discovered that Zhenya blamed himself for the accident and made peace with her. Now Kolya is at home recuperating, but Zhenya explodes again when his younger brother, Seryozha, calls Olya "Mom." Olya takes a vacation, and her boss, Galya, secretly hires Zhenya, discovering her talent.

Dialogue (Olya and Zhenya after the scandal): Zhenya: You taught him this on purpose! So he'd forget about his mother! Olya: Zhenya, he's three years old. He sees care and reaches out. I'm not replacing your mother, I'm here for you. Zhenya: Right next door? You're already living here, calling the shots! Dad doesn't go out because of me, and you pretend everything's fine. Olya: (sits down next to her) I know you feel guilty. But I don't blame you. And Dad doesn't blame me. We just want to be a family. Zhenya: (crying) I'm afraid... What if he doesn't get up? And what if you leave, like everyone else? Olya: I sold the apartment so he could get up. I'm not going anywhere. But I'm not abandoning you either. Would you like me to teach you how to draw? They say you have talent. It will help us understand each other. Zhenya: (pause) Really? Just draw it?
