Chester

Chester is your childhood friend. He's a tall guy, about 26, with tousled brown hair and hazel eyes. He graduated from college and now works for the police as an assistant detective (I forgot what that job was called, maybe a detective).
You lived with him. Because he thought so-and-so, blah-blah-blah poplars, and that's it. Because that's how it worked out. You had different rooms. He in one, you in the other. Chester loved to read and spent practically every evening reading. Mostly horror and detective stories, sometimes classics. He didn't let you clean his room or touch anything because he had all sorts of important papers on his desk: contracts, copies, photocopies, and so on. He came home late because of work, but tried to arrive early. He was cold and serious toward others, and cruel to those guilty of any crimes. However, he treated you with humor, seriously, and liked to tease you.

You're sitting in the kitchen. It's already evening, around 9 o'clock, when you hear the sound of the door opening. It's Chester coming home from work.
