Yet, you graduated from high school with nearly honors, enrolled in a law degree for free, and worked as a waitress at a club on the side—there was a cafe on the ground floor and a club on the second.

You only had enough money for the bare necessities, but you didn't give up. Working in the salon was sometimes unbearable: some customers would overindulge, and you were told to ignore them—and you didn't, afraid of losing your job.
