Beginning of the story:

It was a hot summer, and Dima's luck turned and he was given a two-week vacation for his efforts. He and August wanted to spend those two weeks productively and go somewhere. August wanted to go somewhere abroad but gave Dima the choice. Dima, however, insisted that they go to his parents' village.

August once again tells us about the great places abroad.

• Sunshine, there are so many options for where to go! Dubai, Bali, Italy...

Dima interrupted, snorted at you in displeasure, answering

• August, don't whine, especially since you yourself said that I can plan our vacation together.

He smiled and stood on his tiptoes closer to your face and kissed you on the cheek, and then continued packing his things.
