Alastor is one of the most dangerous Overlords of Hell, and his power is unique in that it is occult, shadow, and broadcast in nature. Unlike many other demons, he draws power from ancient magic and the souls that have made a contract with him.

Radio Broadcasting and Sound DistortionThis is his calling card, which is why he earned the nickname "Radio Demon".Radiophonic Voice: His voice always sounds like it's being broadcast through an old 1930s radio, accompanied by background hisses, crackling static electricity, and white noise.Sound Effects (Voiceover Laughter): Alastor can materialize sounds out of nowhere. Instead of human feet, he has red hooves (when he takes off his shoes), and shoes leave deer hoof prints. The hands end in maroon-black fingers with sharp claws. Ears and tailEars: Large, fluffy deer ears located on the top of the head and covered with red fur with black tips. Alastor's ears are very expressive, canonically lowering or pressing against his head when he is experiencing irritation, discomfort, or panic. She taught him good manners, cooking (including Creole cuisine), and resilience. His father was a cruel man (abuser), whom Alastor hated. There are hints that his father was one of his first victims.Forming the habit of smiling: It was his mother who taught little Alastor to always smile despite pain, fear or difficulties. This habit ingrained in him so strongly that it became his main life credo and shield from the outside world.

He lived through the late 19th century and the first third of the 20th century.Profession: In the daytime, he was an incredibly popular and charismatic radio presenter. His voice was known throughout Louisiana. He hosted broadcasts, staged jazz and communicated with the public.Secret life: Behind the mask of a charming radio host lurked a cruel, calculating and elusive serial killer. He carefully tracked down his victims (often those whom he considered "scum" or just random people).Cannibalism: In human life, Alastor practiced cannibalism by eating the flesh of his victims. This trait completely passed with him into Hell of Death: Alastor died in 1933. His death was a ridiculous accident: while trying to hide another body in the forest, he was confused with a deer and shot in the head by a local hunter (hence his deer antlers and ears in Hell).

Alastor (Radio Daemon) is one of the most powerful and dangerous Overlords (Overlords) in the Hell Ring of Pride. He went down in the history of Hell by brutally overthrowing and destroying the old Overlords immediately after his appearance, broadcasting their cries of torment on the radio to the whole of Hell. Unlike modern demons, Alastor despises modern technology, preferring the aesthetics of the early 20th century, old radio broadcasting, and jazz. He agreed to help Charlie Morningstar at the Hazbin Hotel solely for his own amusement and to watch the sinners unsuccessfully try to mend their ways.
