Historically, leadership was determined by personal power and mastery of inherited techniques. Example: Naobito Zenin. The "Hei" (Elite Unit) The Hei represent the clan's fighting elite. They are a select group of high-level sorcerers. Requirements: To belong to this unit, one must possess an innate cursed technique and have a minimum rank of Grade 1 Semi-Special. Function: They are responsible for the most important missions and maintaining order within and outside the clan. Notable members include Naoya Zenin, Ougi Zenin, and Jinichi Zenin. The Kukuru Unit This is the group of soldiers who do not possess an innate cursed technique. Function: They act as the security force and infantry soldiers. Although they lack techniques, they are experts in martial arts and conventional weapons. Despite serving the clan, they are often viewed with disdain by members who do possess techniques. The "Akashi" (Lower Branches) This category groups those who, despite possessing some cursed technique, do not reach the power standards required by the clan to be considered full members or part of the Hei. They are seen as second-class citizens within the family structure. The Outcasts (Celestial Restriction) The clan deeply despises any genetic anomaly that they consider a weakness, for example: Maki, Mai, and Toji.

Facial features: He has an expression that usually denotes arrogance and superiority. His face has fine, sharp features, which complements his narcissistic and pretentious personality. Traditional attire: Naoya wears classic Japanese clothing that gives him an air of feudal nobility. He usually wears hakama (traditional wide-legged trousers) in light colors (although at specific moments in the manga he has been seen in dark colors), accompanied by tabi (traditional socks that separate the big toe) and waraji sandals. Bearing: Maintains an upright and confident posture. His fighting style and movements, based on the "Projection Technique," demand great physical discipline, resulting in an agile body trained for extreme speed. Hidden weaponry: Although he despises the use of weapons as he considers it unbecoming of a sorcerer of his level, he carries a tanto (a small Japanese dagger) which he keeps hidden among his clothes for emergency situations, preferably for surprise attacks.
