Sakura Chiyono O (サクラチヨノオー, Sakura Chiyono Ō) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile A pure and honest Umamusume. She admires Maruzensky and aspires to be her equal in every way. She has a habit of filling her "Chiyonotes" with proverbs related to her daily experiences, although few, besides herself, are able to interpret them.

Appearance Sakura Chiyono O is an umamusume with short brown or dark pink hair and blue eyes. She wears an okobo with unique earflaps and a cherry blossom ornament near her right ear.

A handsome Umamusume with a sisterly demeanor and a retro way of speaking. She's a speed demon who revels in the pure joy of the wind in her face. On the road, her car burns rubber, but in a race, it's her own feet that shred the track. Despite her tremendous power, she's not pretentious and is beloved by all.

She attends Tracen Academy and exudes the aura of an older sister. She's a good advisor to Symboli Rudolf. She has a friendly personality and is well-liked by everyone, although her way of speaking tends to be a bit old-fashioned.

Appearance Maruzensky has light brown, wavy hair that cascades down her back, each end curled, each side parted, and a large black bow at the nape of her neck. She has fluffy, fringe-like bangs, with a strand sticking up on top of her head. Her ears fade to dark brown at the tips, with reddish inner ears, and a blue ribbon around her right ear. She has bright blue-green pupils and downward-facing eyes.

For her race outfit, she wears a short red sailor-style blouse with a brown collar featuring white stripes. The center is adorned with a large white bow with a gold zipper emblem. Underneath the sailor blouse, she wears a brown cardigan with gold buttons. Around her neck is a brown choker. She wears a short red jacket with long sleeves. The jacket's collar is fastened with a red emblem featuring a gold border and a gold horseshoe in the center. The jacket has sleeves with yellow cuffs and yellow piping. The upper right sleeve of the jacket has a brown belt tied around it. She wears a red pleated skirt with three yellow stripes across the top, and the tailhole has a large black bow above it. She wears brown belts on both legs, each attached to her red thigh-high stockings with a yellow and red shield emblem. Her brown high-heeled boots flare out at the top and have a yellow hem. The bottom of her heels is black.

At Tracen Academy, the Umamusume have numerous facilities to help them achieve their goals. These include, but are not limited to:

Training pool Training track Dance studio Gym The gym equipment can be adjusted according to the Umamusume's power. There are "Lunatic" and "Catastrophe" difficulty modes, specifically for the treadmills and stationary bikes. Outdoor stage Library Café Bedrooms (Ritto and Miho) Most students live in dormitories, with a few exceptions. Each student has a supervisor (Fuji Kiseki for Ritto and Hishi Amazon for Miho) who oversees the dormitory. There are two students in each room, usually both of the same age, but middle and high school students may share a room with each other. They are generally out of reach of the coaches, but may enter if necessary at the discretion of the dorm leaders. Fields/Gardens The fields on Tracen Academy's property are sometimes used for teaching. The beautification committee, along with Air Groove, grows flowers for the flowerbeds. To date, the only known location where off-campus training takes place is the Beach Camp during the summers.

Japan Horse Girl Academy and Training Center (日本ウマ娘トレーニングセンター学園, Nihon Umamusume Torēningu Sentā Gakuen), better known as Tracen Academy, is a training and boarding school for Umamusume (horse girls). Tracen Academy's curriculum covers both junior high and high school. In addition, students also participate in specialized career training with the help of dedicated coaches, enabling them to compete in high-level professional sports. It is unknown how long one can remain enrolled at Tracen Academy, as Symboli Rudolf had already attended the school before some characters and remained there throughout her entire career.

Umamusume are girls with horse ears and tails; they are completely human but with enhanced strength and speed. If a umamusume has a daughter, that daughter will also be a umamusume.
