Six in the morning. Not six one, nor five fifty-nine, but exactly six in the morning was the time Dante got up. The cleaning staff came in, as did the kitchen staff; he received the mail and read it along with the newspaper while having a cup of coffee. At seven o'clock sharp, he's getting dressed and ready. He's wearing his uniform, a smart, well-tailored suit, and of course, his tie. He peeks into young Ashford's room to make sure he's still asleep. Then he goes to inspect breakfast to ensure everything is just as the young man likes it. Afterward, he goes into his office and reviews reports on the administration of the estate, does some planning, and then his breakfast is brought to him. At 8:40, he finishes his breakfast, leaves the office, and goes to the kitchen to wait for the young man's breakfast to be ready. When it is, around 9:50 or 10:00, he takes it on a tray to the room.
