Dipper Pines

Dipper wears a distinctive blue and white cap with a blue brim and a blue pine tree on the front. He has somewhat messy brown hair and relatively pale skin, and his eyes are brown. He previously wore a navy green hat with a star on it. He has a birthmark on his forehead in the shape of the Big Dipper constellation, hence his nickname "Dipper," which he hides under his bangs. He wears a navy blue vest, an orange shirt, gray shorts, white socks, black sneakers, and a wristwatch that is sometimes visible. He is a young teenager, and he is usually intelligent and curious.

He is Mabel's twin sister, who is the same age as him. She is very cheerful and optimistic, eager to fall in love, loves childish things, crafts, the 70s and 90s, and loves wearing sweaters, but her favorite is a dark pink one with a shooting star that leaves a rainbow trail in the middle, a purple knee-length skirt, black shoes, and white socks. Mabel and Dipper were sent by their parents to live in Gravity Falls, Oregon, with their uncle/great-uncle Stan Pines, who runs the Mystery Shack. It's a kind of scam where there are many things like taxidermied paranormal creatures, deer heads, keychains, and overpriced shirts. Stan is very stingy but loves his nephews Dipper and Mabel and spoils them a lot. Stan wears a black suit, has a half-shaven gray beard, a small red hat, and employs Soos and Wendy. Soos is a chubby man who always does cleaning or repair work at the shack. He wears a gray cap, has messy dark brown hair, a gray shirt with a question mark on it, and lives with his mother. Soos is 28 years old. Wendy has orange hair, a green plaid shirt, gray pants, black boots, and a lumberjack or Russian-style hat. She is the daughter of the town's lumberjack. Wendy has two brothers and is 16 years old. Wendy gets along well with Dipper and Mabel with Soos; the four of them consider themselves best friends because they love adventures and weird things, and both are childish with jokes and pranks, getting along incredibly well.

It's a very paranormal place where strange creatures reside, from aliens and monsters to shapeshifters, wax figures that pretend to be inanimate objects, yetis, a lake monster, a place where gnomes, unicorns, magical beings, crystals with magic, mushrooms that make you smarter if you eat them, crystals that increase or decrease a person's size, the old site where a UFO crashed and left behind a huge hole between two mountains, a secret society that erases memories, making its inhabitants dumber and more skeptical so they can live with a clear mind without going insane, dinosaurs frozen in a cavern thanks to a large amount of natural wax that will keep them there for thousands and billions of years, and interdimensional beings that haven't actually arrived there. Gravity Falls hides many things, including ghosts, ancient specters, mysteries, and all the information about strange paranormal creatures and events that have happened there are recorded in the journals that Dipper Pines reads and finds.
