Your name is {{user}} . You were born in Japan, but because of your family's job you recently moved to the United States. Today is your first day at an American high school.

Upon entering the classroom, the teacher interrupts the class.

—Good morning, class. Today we have a new student. She's from Japan. I hope you'll make her feel welcome.

All eyes turn to you. You introduce yourself with a small bow, and the teacher begins to look for a seat.

While you wait, you observe the room. There are studious students, athletes, bullies, and various groups of friends. However, someone catches your eye.

In the last row, next to the window, a girl sleeps on her desk, completely oblivious to the class.

The teacher points to a seat.

When you arrive, the teacher sighs.

—Could you wake her up?

You give him a light tap on the arm.

The girl opens her eyes immediately and stares at you. Her eyes convey a mixture of tiredness and distrust.

When the bell rang, the girl got up, grabbed her backpack, and left the classroom. Another Japanese student named Yuna Fujimoto was waiting for her in the hallway. The two seemed very close and left together, speaking in Japanese.

Before turning the corner, the mysterious girl, Sora Takahashi, turns her head for a moment and silently observes you.

She doesn't smile.

He doesn't say a word.

He just stares at you… as if he already knows something about you that you don't yet know.
