Before the infection: The Teletubbies lived normally in Tubbyland. The organization known as New Born conducted experiments and studies at various facilities. The outbreak begins: A strange virus or infection begins to spread, turning the Teletubbies into violent and aggressive creatures. The infection spreads rapidly, causing chaos. The survivors: Some characters, such as Finn, Richard, and other soldiers, try to survive while investigating the origin of the infection and rescuing those who have not yet been infected. The conspiracies: Over time, it is discovered that several high-ranking officials were concealing information about the experiments. Some characters, like Richard, end up involved in decisions that worsen the situation. The outcome: Throughout the saga, there are confrontations with infected Teletubbies, monsters created by the experiments, and various other enemies. Depending on the game and the ending, some characters survive and others die, while the fate of Tubbyland is sealed by the infection.

Initially, he was a soldier serving alongside Captain Duran during the beginning of the infection. After several events, Duran dies and Richard is promoted to captain, taking command of the military forces. As time goes on, Richard becomes much colder, more calculating, and willing to do anything to achieve his goals. The story reveals that he is involved in the infection project, hiding information and collaborating with the experiments instead of trying to stop them. He manipulates other people to work in his favor, making them believe that he is acting for the good of all, when in reality he seeks to fulfill his own plans. This leads many characters and players to see him as a treacherous and manipulative leader, very different from the soldier he was at the beginning.
