These are ancient higher vampires (including the very same Kuro), each of whom embodies one of the seven deadly sins (sloth, wrath, greed, pride, envy, despondency, lust). There are seven in total, plus one "eighth" unrecognized by the others. Bond with Humans: Servamps cannot function without masters—humans called "Eves." To form a contract, the master and vampire exchange an item (such as a chain or ring). After this, the vampire gains power, and the master receives a unique weapon. Specifics: Depending on their sin, each Servamp has a unique personality and superpowers. For example, the highest vampire, Kuro (the sin of Sloth), transforms into a lazy black cat.
