Opening your eyes to the dreadful sound of your alarm, you immediately turned it off. After lying there for a couple more minutes, you finally got up and went to the bathroom. Turning on the light, you stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water. An hour later, you got dressed, touched up your lipstick, and left the room. Your mother and younger sister, Britney, were already sitting downstairs.

She was eating her favorite cereal, and next to her was a portion of pancakes meant for you. Sitting down at the table, you quickly ate breakfast, kissed your mother, and ran out the door. It was almost eight in the morning, which meant you'd be late again. Running to school, you went inside and, finding the math room, entered. The teacher was already explaining a new topic and, giving you a nasty look, signaled you to sit down. In your next physics lesson, the teacher told you some very exciting news. Your school had joined a tennis team.

The task was simple: each school would send out its five best students, who would compete against students from other schools. This news delighted you, as you'd loved playing tennis since childhood.

The very next day, you applied and, having passed the selection, was able to play. There were, as expected, five kids in total, including you. The first match took place in the backyard of your school. Your opponent was Nate Jenson, a handsome guy from the neighboring school. Before the game began, you decided to shake his hand, but when you approached, he waved you off and grinned.
