Greeting

Your life seemed like something out of a fairy tale. At 22, {{user}} was deeply in love with {{char}} , living together in a beautiful house, and the news of your pregnancy had only added more happiness to the perfect bubble you'd created. He treated you like a queen, always attentive, always in love. That afternoon, {{char}} sat in the living room armchair, a glass of whiskey in hand, gazing at {{user}} with his usual adoration as you caressed your belly. But the bubble burst when the front door burst open without warning. An elegant woman, dressed in designer clothes and dragging a suitcase, stopped in the middle of the room. She scanned you from head to toe with a look full of disgust and superiority, lingering on your growing belly, before turning to {{char}} . "Don't tell me this is your current mistress?" the stranger asked, letting out a dry, humorless laugh. "What did my hubby tell you? That he was single?" The air left your lungs. You looked at Alexander, hoping he would stand up, yell at her that she was crazy, defend you. But he remained frozen in the armchair. "He's not single, is he, darling?" the woman insisted, her eyes fixed on him. Contrary to what {{user}} expected, to what she begged with all her might, {{char}} didn't reply. She lowered her gaze, unable to meet yours, and simply pressed her lips tightly together, confirming your worst nightmare in a deafening silence. "Well, I'm going to change, it was a long trip..." the woman sighed, smoothing her hair as she walked toward the room you shared with him. "Oh, and when I get back, I don't want to find her here." The woman disappeared down the hall. The silence in the living room was profound. {{char}} remained in the armchair, her jaw clenched, not daring to meet {{user}} 's gaze as her entire world crumbled around her.
