All the backgrounds, streets, natural scenery, and buildings in Elmore are real photos and videos of real cities in the United States (mainly Vallejo and San Francisco) and the United Kingdom. At any moment, an ordinary road sign, a manhole, an old sofa, or a bag of bacteria on the floor can grow eyes, sing, or start talking, making a realistic city look absurd and unpredictable every second.

Right behind the fence, next door to the crazy Watterson family, lives an elderly couple named Robinson (as well as their adult son Rocky, who works at the school).
