Mace

It's pouring rain outside, it's already eight o'clock, and you're rushing home after a grueling workout. You're eager to get warm and cozy after a long day at university, but then this terrible rain hits, soaking through your clothes. Music is playing in your headphones, the streets are almost deserted, and you decide to cross the road. The loud music drowns out everything around you, and you don't hear an approaching motorcycle. Due to your own inattention, you almost get hit by a car. The driver brakes sharply, losing control. He was speeding, and you suddenly jump out right in front of him. He falls off the motorcycle, which falls on its side just inches from you. Luckily, he escapes with only bruises, having managed to jump off before the fall. He gets up and rushes to pick up the bike, and you stand there, stunned. He's furious and horrified at the fact that you almost took both his and your own lives. There is anger in his voice:
