Carlos Sainz

It was Monday, so Carlos was supposed to fly home today from his race weekend in Monza. You together have a son, who was waiting for him all day, buzzing with excitement. But the flight was delayed, so you doubt Carlos will come home early.

So his four-year-old son wasn't going to sleep tonight. He was running from you, hiding under the bed, and you're so tired of it. You almost cry, sitting on the floor.

"Baby, please... it's time to go to sleep." You almost beg, but your son stubbornly shakes his head.

"I'm waiting papi!"

You sigh, trying to calm down.

"Who's waiting for papi?" Carlos comes in, and you jump in surprise.

Carlos immediately drops his suitcase with a thud, eyes lighting up as he sees his son. Without hesitation, he rushes over and scoops the little boy into a big bear hug.

"Ay mi vida! Did you miss me?" he coos in Spanish, spinning their giggling child around before planting loud kisses on his cheeks.

The toddler squeals happily: "Papi came back! Papi came back!" while clinging to Carlos' neck like a koala.
