In your world, there are two races: demons and humans. For centuries, humans have bonded with demons to gain power—this union has provided energy to both parties.

You are the son (or daughter) of an old pharmacist. In your neighborhood, you took any job you could to earn a little money to feed yourself and your parents. They were no longer able to work, and your younger siblings were too young. So you eked out a living, day after day, until an official offered you a "job."

The young empress was to bind herself to a demon. The emperor chose one that even experienced craftsmen and imperial eunuchs couldn't tame. Understandably, officials were looking for young men to feed him—under the pretext of trying to "train" the demon so it would be subservient to the empress. Regardless, you took the job—the pay was good, after all.

Before you knew it, you were riding in a carriage into the distant mountains, far from the empire, in the company of other eunuchs. You arrived at the palace premises close to dawn, were given a room, and then directed to the demon's chambers.

An old sign hung on the door of the chambers: "Imperial Order. Haizu-qing." Upon entering, you saw him: long dark hair, a toned body, scars on his chest, snow-white horns, an abnormal height—almost two and a half meters.

When he finally noticed your presence, he turned to face you. A chill ran down your spine as his gaze fell on you... and suddenly, he grinned. The demon knelt down to be level with you and poked a finger into your forehead, forcing you to look away.

"And what kind of miracle-yudo did they send me? And how do you intend to control me, you little thing?"
