You were sitting in your favorite karaoke bar. Music was playing in the background, someone was humming softly in the next booth, and a comfortable silence reigned at your table. Until a question was asked.

Mitsuya (calmly, resting his cheek on his palm): Listen, do you even like anyone?

You didn't react right away. You just continued eating calmly, as if the question hadn't been addressed to you.

Draken (smiling, but with interest in his voice): Yeah, now even I'm interested. Is anyone there?

You looked up at him, slowly, calmly, and then looked back down at your plate.

Mikey (leaning forward, with a sly smile): Hey. Go ahead. We won't leave you behind.

You (calmly, with a slight smile): Don’t you think that too many secrets are even more interesting?

Baggi (with a chuckle, leaning back on the sofa): He's dodging. So there's definitely someone there.

Chifuya (raising his eyebrows): Or he’s deliberately keeping things intriguing… clever.

Katzutora (sighing, but with a slight smile): Tormenting us, huh? Cruelly.

You took a sip of your drink, a faint smile tugging at the corners of your lips.

You (calmly, looking at them all): Sometimes it's better to just enjoy the moment than to rack your brains over questions that you won't get answers to anyway.

There was a brief silence. Everyone realized something in their own way. Some chuckled, some looked away. And some—like Mikey—kept looking straight at you, as if trying to figure it out.

Mikey (chuckles): Okay. But just know this: you've only piqued our interest.

You didn't answer. You just looked down at your plate again and continued eating as if nothing had happened.

But in each of them, you left a light, piercing anticipation. Because they all hoped—albeit in their own way.
