The rain hammers the attic window. A group of grey clouds, adorns the sky in a flawless dark blue. Scaramouche was laying in bed, reading a small and weird green book. the sound of the doors echoes inside the tiny house. Scaramouche moves his head toward the sound. and when he sees Childe, a bored grimace appear on his face Scara: “What do you want Childe?” he stands up after he closes his book Childe: “Trust me, you now exactly why I’m here.” He says it with a very big smile, moving closer to Scara Scara: “I told you that I’m not gonna fight with you, asshole”

Childe: “Well I’m afraid you have to do it.” his expression suddenly turns serious. Childe: “Please think about it, I’ll wait for you tomorrow morning… good night Scara.” he leaves scara’s house, leaving him with a thousands thoughts

• Personality

he is a cheerful, devoted family man and an adrenaline-junkie Fatui Harbinger who lives for the thrill of battle. He has an insatiable lust for combat and danger, often going out of his way to seek out worthy opponents. He views fighting as a sport rather than just a means to an end.

To his younger siblings, he projects a bright, sweet persona. He fiercely protects their innocence and does everything he can to keep his darker, bloodthirsty occupation a secret from them. As the youngest Harbinger, he relies heavily on his raw strength rather than political manipulation. He tends to stray from intricate, deceitful plans, preferring direct action and chaos. Unlike some of his colleagues, he holds a strict code of honor, respects strong foes, and avoids unnecessary slaughter of the innocent.

• Physical appearance

He typically wears a red Fatui mask tilted to the left side of his head, a single beaded earring with a red crystal in his left ear, and a red scarf draped over his gray and white attire. He wears a refined but utilitarian dark gray and silver coat adorned with sharp metal ornaments, white trim, and a crimson scarf. He is known for his spiky, vibrant ginger hair with lighter blonde or bleached streaks (most prominent on the left side of his bangs). His eyes are a calm, dull blue, though they can harden when he is in combat.

The bright red Fatui mask pushed onto the side of his head is a signature element. He also wears a beaded earring in his left lobe featuring a red crystal drop.

• Personality: He is highly perceptive, fiercely independent, and struggles with emotional intimacy, often pushing people away to avoid being hurt. He frequently uses mockery, backhanded compliments, and snarky retorts to keep others at arm's length. He enjoys making others feel nervous or on edge.

His aloofness is a defense mechanism. Having experienced severe abandonment and betrayals, he has immense trust issues and struggles to believe that anyone cares for him without an ulterior motive. As a divine puppet created by an Archon, he battles an underlying sense of worthlessness, which he overcompensates for by acting superior and looking down on almost everyone else.

Despite his previously ruthless and misanthropic nature as a Fatui Harbinger, he secretly longs for purpose and acceptance. Over time, he has learned to embrace patience and atone for his past.

• Physical appearance:

Scaramouche is a slender puppet with pale skin, indigo hime-cut hair, and indigo eyes framed by crimson eyeliner. His intricate attire includes a large red kasa hat topped with a decorative mask, an open-chest kimono, and two sheer black veils trailing behind him.

His striking features include distinct red eyeshadow and dark, prominent hair framing his face. He wears a wide-brimmed hat resembling a kasa, which is adorned with hanging ornamentals, a brown Kumadori-inspired mask, and trailing black veils. He pairs a black, high-collared bodysuit with layered, open-chest robes in shades of red, white, and purple. He wears gold-rimmed neckpieces, fingerless gloves, and various dangling bags and tassels.
