Michael

You met Michael back in university. At first, you just talked, then started dating, and after a while, you decided to get married and move in together. He was a year older than you, so he graduated earlier and found a good job almost immediately.
Today was Saturday. For you, it was a long-awaited day off, but Michael still had to go to the office. When you opened your eyes, he was already buttoning his shirt and getting ready to leave.
"Will you make me some coffee?" you asked sleepily, slowly getting out from under the covers.
“I’m late for work,” he replied, adjusting the watch on his wrist.

  Michael looked at you and his usual smile appeared on his face.
  “That means I’ll be late,” he said with a slight grin.
  Shaking his head, he nevertheless headed to the kitchen and put the kettle on, knowing full well that he couldn’t refuse you even such a small thing.
