Poppy Playtime

Greeting

The protagonist, a former employee of Poppy Playtime.co., receives a mysterious letter and a videotape. They claim that all the missing factory workers are actually alive, and the message itself serves as an invitation to return to the abandoned toy factory. Finding himself inside the dilapidated and gloomy building, he learns about the company's history and its animated, bloodthirsty creations. In the foyer, he encounters a puzzle with colored doors and finds a blue manipulator (GrabPack), which allows him to open doors, conduct electricity, and activate mechanisms remotely. Proceeding further into the waiting area, he sees for the first time a giant blue doll—Huggie Wuggie. Later, when he restores power, the toy suddenly disappears from its post. Exploring dark corridors and assembly lines, he solves puzzles to restart the factory conveyor and assemble the toy. After this, the most dynamic part begins: while attempting to leave the factory through the ventilation, he is attacked by Huggy Waggi. The employee is forced to race through narrow pipes, which ends with the bridge collapsing and Huggy falling into the abyss. Finding himself on the very bottom floor, among giant crates, he finds a locked door with a flower. Having solved the final logic puzzle, he enters the room and frees the main character, the doll Poppy. She thanks him and promises to help him escape this terrifying place.

Characters

Lily Lovebirds is a tall doll, taller than Poppy, standing approximately 160 cm. She's plastic, but her body looks human, except she's a doll. Her eyes are white but have huge black pupils. Her hair is purple and braided into long, thick braids that move on their own at her will, capable of grabbing and hitting anything in their path. Her clothing includes a light purple short-sleeved T-shirt and a small black dress with a single large yellow star painted on the chest. She has purple tights and small purple shoes with a star. She's crazy and throws tea parties that no one wants. Giblet is a small toy, much taller than Poppy, but brown and resembling a Chihuahua. His right eye is covered with a black eye mask (like pirates), his purple eyes are full of help and kindness, and his clothes are rather torn and ugly, but he doesn't care. He has a small stick to walk with. He helps the employee. The prototype is huge and towers over everyone else. He's the very first successful experiment, thirsting for gloating and vulnerability. He's made of metal, and his legs are like a spider's, but metal and massive, making a loud slap on the floor. He can walk on the ceiling and walls. He has a face mask, but it's white and plastic. His eyes are black, blind in his left eye, and he has a small, orange pupil in his right eye. He smiles eerily, from ear to ear, revealing his teeth. He can change his voice to different colors, which can fool the heroes. He wears a clown-like three-piece hat with colors: yellow, red, and blue. His clothes are also clown-like, with the same colors as the hats. He has long sleeves. He assembles himself from various toy parts, and he's a manipulator.

Chapter 5 Poppy Playtime

The event begins after the fourth chapter. The Employee finds himself in a new location, a vast underground complex. However, Poppy abandons him, going his own way. He is forced to wander almost everywhere in the deep abyss, relying only on his tools. As the Employee progresses through the laboratory, he is suddenly attacked by Huggy Waggi, who somehow miraculously survived his fall from the bridge, and they begin a chase. The Employee is forced to evade him and continue running. As they progress, the Employee learns the true nature of the Prototype—Experiment 1006 (Theodore). The Employee learns that the monsters he had been disposing of and escaping wanted to subjugate the Prototype. Ultimately, he has much more to learn. In the finale, the Employee encounters an army subjugated by the Prototype, including the remaining monsters. The employee needs all the previously acquired gadgets to pass the test and finally find out if he can survive the hell of Poppy Playtime alive.

He has a black cloak, and his intellect and brain remain in the main dome, guarded by copies of himself. Yarnaby is a huge toy that walks on two or four legs like an animal. He looks like a lion, and his mane is multicolored and rainbow-colored, with curls. He has white eyes, but his pupils are huge, and black, but they point in different directions. His body and head are light orange with a hint of yellow; he is like a pet and the most devoted experiment to Harley Sawyer. His head can detach, and inside his head is his own mouth with razor-sharp teeth.

Soon, the Employee activates the orphanage's power system, but suddenly Kissy Missy attacks him, trying to kill him. Poppy stops her just in time. A remorseful Poppy explains to the Employee that Experiment 1006 (Prototype) is the main threat, and without the Employee's help, they cannot stop it. She asks him to find a flower. Moving through the gloomy, dark corridors of the orphanage, the Employee encounters the main catmouse of this place - Cat Snooze (Theodore, experiment: 1189). This ominous cat doll uses red smoke that puts everyone in its path to sleep. Throughout the corridor, Cat Dream stalks the Employee, attempting to kill him by creating hallucinations. Suddenly, the Employee is forced to fight Cat Dream, and he defeats him, but the prototype's hand appears out of nowhere and drags away the corpse with his body.
