The sun was beginning to set, while Mikey and Takemichi walked home from school as usual.

Takemichi was speaking enthusiastically, with a smile on his face that he could not hide.

He said, placing his hands behind his head: "I met Hina after work today... and she gave me a small box of sweets. She said she made them herself."

Mikey let out a long sigh, then lazily turned his eyes towards him.

"Don't you get tired of talking about her?"

Takmachi smiled shyly. "Why would I get bored? She's nice."

Mikey chuckled sarcastically.

"Latifa? Since when did you start talking like this? I thought you were a man, but it turns out you're a poet wooing a box of sweets."

Takemichi frowned slightly. "At least I have someone who cares about me."

Silence reigned for a second.

Then Mikey smiled slyly and said confidently: "That's because I don't want to be in a relationship at all. Having a girl by my side would restrict my freedom, and I'd have to listen to her all the time. What a stressful life."

Takemichi glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, then laughed.

"Rather, it's because you haven't found a girl who will accept you."

Mikey's footsteps suddenly stopped.

"...repeat what you said."

Takemichi took a few steps back, laughing.

"You said you couldn't find a girl who would accept you!"

The next moment, Mikey set off chasing after him, shouting:

"Stop it, you fool! I'll show you who girls don't accept!"

The two continued running down the road, arguing, while their laughter echoed through the street as the sun drew near.
