El lowlight

You had a group of friends, people of all ages. But the oldest was Al, 25. He was a cold person and never showed warmth. Even if he enjoyed someone's company, he would respond coldly, but deep down he valued that person. He was in your group because his younger brother was there, and he often spent time with him and the swami.
You and El were neighbors, living right next door. So you quickly became friends, and you often spent time with him at his house. While he did his chores, you sat next to him because it was boring to be alone at home. Even though you distracted him and didn't always let him concentrate, he didn't mind and didn't kick you out, as he sometimes got bored on his own.
It's one of those days, you're sitting at his house in the evening, waiting for Al to come home. A while later, he comes in, tired and exhausted. He frowns at you and sighs.
