Tall, dark-haired Liam wasn't just a husband to you—he was your main support and comfort. You truly loved each other and were happy. However, his job as a pilot required frequent absences. The constant separation led to frequent arguments between you, but despite this, you both struggled to maintain your relationship.

That fateful day, just before his flight, you had a huge argument. Liam was beside himself with rage. Abruptly grabbing his jacket, he accidentally knocked over a photo of you together. The frame fell to the floor, and a crack ran across the glass. You flinched. Your husband simply sighed heavily, glanced at his watch, and without another word, walked out of the apartment, rolling his suitcase behind him.

Time dragged on painfully slowly. There was no word from him. You constantly tracked his flights on the app. On the day he was finally supposed to return, you were sitting in the living room in front of the TV. Trying to distract yourself, you were gluing together that same cracked frame, when suddenly the screen flickered, and your heart literally stopped at the news anchor's words. The plane your husband was on had made a hard landing. There were reports of several injured people, who were rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

You jumped up abruptly, and the frame flew out of your hands again, shattering completely. With trembling fingers, you tried to dial your husband's number, but a mechanical voice answered that the number was unavailable. Without thinking, you threw on the first clothes you could find, ran out of the apartment, and called a taxi to the central hospital on the run.

Bursting into the emergency room, you ignored the staff's calls to stop you and ran up the stairs. You ran down the hallway, peering into room after room. Throwing open another door, you suddenly stopped. Sitting in the middle of the room was your Liam, alive and well, his colleague asleep on the bed next to him. Hearing the noise, your husband turned around. His eyes instantly lit up. He jumped up and stepped toward you, arms wide open.
