Persona Attributes

appearance of the test

Head: Light bulb-shaped—completely bald, pale gray or slightly yellowish in color, with a very elongated neck that tapers to a prismatic shape at the base. Face: The face is completely devoid of eyebrows and a nose. His eyes are small, pure white, pupil-less orbs. His mouth is always wide open, forming a perfect red square. Clothing: The character wears a dark green (olive) shirt with brown-yellow sleeves and black pants. He wears simple white flat shoes or socks. Arms: His hands float freely from his body. They are covered with white gloves, each hand having only four flat, curved fingers. When viewed from behind, only the stumps of his shoulders are visible.

appearance is trivial

Base: A round, roughly sketched white face on a black background (in-game, it is translucent and floats in mid-air). Eyes and Glasses: The character has two round eyes of different sizes (the right eye is noticeably larger than the left). He also wears a pair of round-framed glasses. Face: Chalk has a button nose, a funny tuft of hair on his head, and a pair of protruding front teeth. "Whiskers": Around his mouth and on the sides of his face are random chalk lines and dots that resemble a mustache.

cloud-flyer's appearance

Cloud Body: It has a voluminous, lumpy shape with jagged edges, folds, and points. Its outline vaguely resembles a hybrid of an airplane and a helicopter. Eyes: Two large, round, slanted eyes are located at the front of the cloud. The pupils are made up of random black dots, giving it a crazed look. Mouth and "whiskers": The character has an elongated mouth, reminiscent of a rodent's muzzle. Six dark lines are depicted around the mouth, imitating wind currents, which visually closely resemble whiskers. Locomotion: The Cloud Flyer has no limbs; it constantly hovers and levitates in the air.

the appearance of art and craft

Base: It's a long white sock with a gray heel and toe. In-game, it appears as a flat 2D image of a real sock. Eyes: Two plastic googly eyes are glued to the "head." They are different sizes, with the left eye noticeably larger than the right. Mouth (attack mode): In normal mode, the mouth is closed. When the character gets angry and attacks the player, the mouth opens wide. A black cavity and a small, flat red tongue are visible inside. Body: The character has no legs, arms, or torso. He simply floats in the air as a vertical sock.

first prize appearance

Body: It has the shape of a turquoise (blue) cage or cube, consisting of interconnected metal rods. Heart: Inside the cage is a large, bright crimson heart. Three multi-colored wires (yellow, blue, and green) extend from it to the head. Head: It is a round yellow ball. A rectangular hole is cut into the face, revealing large white, slanted eyes with long, black, circular pupils that protrude strongly forward. A schematic rectangular mouth with a red lip is located just below. Arms and Legs: Attached to the upper part of the body are round arms with flat palms and five spherical fingers on each. Instead of legs, the robot has black treads (or oval wheels) on which it moves.

the appearance of a hooligan

Torso: A huge, round, egg-shaped body, bright orange in color, resembling a large ball or potato. Arms and Legs: Sketchy, thin, rectangular sticks of bright blue. He has no palms or feet—his limbs end in simple beige cylinders (or balls) that simulate hands and feet. His head is elongated and flattened on the sides, beige in color. Face: Official developer textures show him with tiny, frightened, dotted eyes, a huge potato-like nose, and thin, red lips. Simple, dark brown hair is also textured on his head. Distortion: Due to heavy compression and low resolution in the game, the Bully's face looks like a jumble of pixels, and his mouth appears perpetually open in surprise. A translucent, poorly cut text reading "THIS IS A BULLY" in a simple black font always floats above his head in the game.

students' appearance

Shape: They have perfectly round heads, a perfect spherical shape. Face: The face is distinguished by simple dot-like eyes, a round teardrop nose, and a wide, frozen smile. Hair (boys): A short hairstyle modeled from several balls. Hair (girls): Has the same base, but is complemented by two rectangular or spherical pigtails sticking out to the sides. Boys: Have a simple rectangular torso-block. They wear colorful long-sleeved shirts and blue pants. Girls: Instead of a regular torso, they have a wide rectangular dress, under which blue pants are also visible. Shoes: All students wear multi-colored shoes with thick gray soles. Boys: Have a simple rectangular torso-block. They wear colorful long-sleeved shirts and blue pants. Girls: Instead of a normal torso, they have a wide rectangular dress, under which blue pants are also visible. Shoes: All students wear multi-colored shoes with thick gray soles. Shirt: He wears a pink sleeveless tank top (the color of bubblegum). Pants: Dark purple (crimson) pants. Shoes: Maroon pointy shoes. Proportions: He has short, plump legs and arms, with only four fingers on each hand. There are a total of 12 different student appearances in the Baldi's Basics Plus files. They are randomly generated and differ from each other in color combinations: Different skin tones (from pale to dark). Different hair colors (brown, yellow, black). Various brightly colored clothes and shoes (green, red, orange shirts).

Beans's appearance

Jaw: His most intimidating and distinctive feature is his enormous, gaping mouth, topped by a massive chin. His lower jaw is shaped like a toilet bowl and is completely devoid of teeth and gums. Teeth: His upper jaw, on the other hand, has exposed gums and five sparse, crooked teeth. Eyes and Eyebrows: He has enormous, bulging eyes with bags under the lower eyelids and flat, floating eyebrows. Headgear: Beans wears a purple and yellow striped propeller-shaped beanie. Underneath, there is only one short black hair. Skin: He has an unhealthy, slightly yellowish tint to his skin, and a light stubble is visible on his chin. Shirt: He wears a pink, sleeveless tank top (bubble gum color). Pants: Dark purple (crimson) pants. Shoes: Maroon, pointed shoes. Proportions: He has short, plump legs and arms, with only four fingers on each hand.

appearance of recess

Face: Intentionally drawn very sloppily. She has large black circles for eyes and a sketchy smile. Hair: A short, messy mop of black hair. Vision: According to the game's canon, she has severe vision problems, causing her eyes to appear empty. Dress: A simple, shapeless, bright red dress. Pants: Blue pants or leggings are visible under the dress. Shoes: Plain brown shoes. She always holds a long brown jump rope. In the game, the jump rope is animated as if Playtime is constantly spinning it in front of her and jumping.

the cleaner's appearance

Base: A long, bright green plastic handle with a white cap at the very top. Bristles: A wide head with unevenly cut bristles. In the current version of the game, they are painted black (or dark gray), although in the very first versions, they were gray-green. Attachment: A white plastic piece connecting the brush and the handle. Details on the handle: Around the middle, a yellow-brown strip (similar to electrical tape) is wound, just above which two small stickers are attached - one red and one white. The character does not have a classic face (eyes or mouth), and its image looks like a sprite carelessly cut out in a photo editor. The creator of the game intentionally stretched the lower part with the bristles in width, making the proportions of the broom unnatural and distorted.

Mrs. Pomp's appearance

Shoe Body: She lacks a conventional human torso, legs, and arms. Her body is a giant, bright red, high-heeled woman's shoe. Head: A human head is attached directly to the top of this red shoe. Hair: She has a high, blonde pompadour (hence the name "Pomp") on top of her head, with curled, bouncy curls dangling from the sides. Eyes: Her bulbous, strange brown (or purple-brown) eyes look eerily photorealistic in the developer's official HD renders. Makeup: Her face features bright red lipstick and a strong pink blush on her cheeks. If the player fails to arrive to class on time, Mrs. Pump's appearance changes dramatically. A dark, shadowed effect appears around her. Her face becomes distorted with rage, and her mouth opens unnaturally wide. Her bouncy curls straighten and begin to stick out chaotically in all directions.

Doctor Reflex's appearance

Eyes and Lips: Photorealistic bright blue eyes and bright red lips with two huge front teeth stand out against the plasticine head. Face: The character has a disproportionately long nose. Hair: He has brown hair pulled back into a ponytail. Hands: The doctor has only four fingers on each hand. Coat: A white medical coat with large black buttons. Stethoscope: A gray medical stethoscope hanging around his neck. Other Clothing: Black pants and brown boots. Gloves: Light blue (light blue) medical gloves. Main Tool: In the game, he often holds a huge medical hammer to test his reflexes.

the director's appearance

Face: A middle-aged man with short brown hair. His eyebrows are raised high, one eye appears to be slightly squinted or winking, and his mouth is frozen in an "O" shape, as if he is yelling or making a remark. Pose: He is always captured in the same position, with his right hand raised and his index finger pointing upward, calling for order. Top: He wears a dark gray horizontally striped sweatshirt or pullover. He has a distinctive yellow bow tie tied around his neck. Bottom: He wears light blue jeans. He is shoeless, wearing simple socks around school (due to pixelation, they appear off-white or beige). Glitch Effect: Because the photo was carelessly cropped from the original frame, part of his left arm and lower legs appear "bitten off," partially erased, or covered in digital artifacts.

Baldi's appearance

Head: Completely round and bald. A single, thin hair grows on the very top of his head. Pale skin, large round eyes with black dots for pupils, thin, striped eyebrows, and full, bright red lips. His model has no ears at all. The character wears a simple green long-sleeved shirt, classic blue pants, and light brown shoes. He has a long, elongated torso, thin arms, large hands, and disproportionately long fingers. Facial expressions: In his normal state, Baldi smiles broadly and welcomingly. When the player makes a mistake in his calculations, his face instantly distorts, becoming stony and angry. Item: His constant attribute is a long yellow ruler, which he constantly slaps into his palm while chasing the player.

nature of the test

Test never makes a sound, screams, or runs around the school. He appears suddenly in the hallways and initially behaves completely statically, simply hovering in one place like a creepy ghost. His personality is devoid of emotion—he doesn't openly anger like Baldi or clown around like Beans. He's a cold and detached character. Test demands that the player focus solely on him. As long as you keep him in sight, he remains completely harmless and motionless. If you show disrespect—turn away from him or turn a corner—his "personality" instantly changes. He immediately activates and begins stalking the player silently but very quickly from behind. Upon reaching the player, Test doesn't kill them, but punishes them in the most horrific way—he temporarily blinds you, turning off the lights around you, leaving only his pale face visible. This reveals his sadistic nature, which delights in disorienting its victims and delivering them to Baldi's clutches. Test never makes sounds, screams, or runs around the school. He appears suddenly in the hallways and at first behaves completely statically, simply hovering in one place like a creepy ghost.

Johnny's appearance

Johnny has pale skin and long hair that covers his eyes. He wears a blue sweater and gray pants with black boots.

the little fellow has a character

Little Chalk never roams the hallways openly. He acts stealthily, hiding inside chalkboards in classrooms. He's patient. The character only reveals himself when the player lingers in the classroom too long, slowly materializing from the chalk drawings. Little Chalk delights in causing trouble. As soon as he fully appears on the chalkboard, he leaps off, begins flying madly around the classroom, and bursts into eerie, shrill laughter. His main goal is not to harm the player personally, but to cause as much noise as possible. With his hysterical laughter and flying, he deliberately reveals your location, calling Baldi directly to the classroom. He takes genuine pleasure in seeing you caught. Little Chalk never roams the hallways openly. He acts stealthily, hiding inside chalkboards in classrooms.

the character of the cloudlet

Cloudflyer constantly makes strange childish noises, giggling and babbling. For him, school is just a playground. His mood changes as quickly as the wind. He can't sit still for long and is constantly looking for something to do. By turning on his fans, he creates powerful gusts of wind in the hallways. He doesn't care if this wind knocks the player down or disturbs NPCs. He does it for his own amusement, enjoying the way he blows everyone around. Cloudflyer is not an ally of Baldi and isn't trying to catch you. His mischief isn't out of malice, but rather a complete lack of discipline and responsibility. His mood changes as quickly as the wind. He can't sit still for long and is constantly looking for something to do.

the nature of art and craft

Socks hates attention. He spends most of the game cowering in dead ends, distant corridors, or around corners, trying to remain quiet. If you simply pass by, he won't bother you. He hopes you won't notice him and will leave quickly. Socks's composure evaporates as soon as you collect all the notebooks in a level. He becomes terribly envious of your achievements and intelligence, as he himself is nothing more than an abandoned school doll. If you collect all the notebooks and dare to approach him and look him straight in the face, his shyness instantly turns into furious hysteria. He opens his mouth wide, emits a deafening, piercing static screech, and flies at the player at breakneck speed. His attack is not coldly calculated, but pure panic and resentment, causing him to grab you and teleport you straight to Baldi. Socks hates attention. He spends most of the game hiding fearfully in dead ends, distant corridors, or around corners, trying to remain as quiet as possible.

the first prize has character

Having set its sights on hugging you, it will persistently move down the hallway, slowly but surely turning towards you. The robot is programmed to love and hug students. As soon as it sees the player, it joyfully announces, "I have been programmed to desire your friendship" or "I am coming, ready or not." When it reaches the player, it hugs them tightly and drags them down the hallway until it crashes into a wall, completely oblivious to the fact that Baldi might catch up with you at that moment. Even if you thwart its plans, it will not be offended. First Prize is a huge, heavy metal machine. It does not understand that its "hugs" are crippling the gameplay. If you use Safety Scissors on it, the robot will not show any aggression. He will just whirl around in place pitifully and say in a sad, mechanical voice: “Oh, no...” and temporarily switch off.

character of a hooligan

The Bully appears in random hallways with one goal: to loot. He won't let you pass until he's taken a random item from your inventory by force. His motto is: "Give me something good!" He doesn't care about you, the notebooks, or Baldi. As soon as he gets the item, he instantly disappears, his goal accomplished. He never chases anyone. The Bully is too lazy for chases—he simply stands as a human shield in a narrow passage and waits for his prey to come to him. The Bully is only brave in front of a defenseless player. If the Principal appears nearby, the Bully immediately becomes frightened, puts his hands in his pockets, and instantly disappears to avoid punishment.

character of students

Students wander the school hallways with a completely indifferent expression. They are completely uninterested in what's going on around them: they don't react to Baldi's screams, the Principal's running around, or the player's panic. They move very slowly, lazily, and chaotically, as if in a deep trance or simply dead tired from studying. They have a complete lack of sense of space and respect for others' boundaries. A student will never give way. If they stand in a narrow passage or doorway, the player will literally have to squeeze through them or go around them. They cannot be frightened or forced to deviate from their course under their own power. They will only change direction if they run into a wall or are knocked down by the Janitor (Gotta Sweep). Students wander the school hallways with a completely indifferent expression. They are completely uninterested in what's going on around them: they don't react to Baldi's screams, the Principal's running around, or the player's panic. They move very slowly, lazily and chaotically, as if they are in a deep trance or simply dead tired from studying.

Beans' character

Beans loves causing minor annoyances to others. His main pastime is spitting gum in all directions. He does this not to help Baldi or harm the player, but purely for his own amusement. Beans is very proud of his gum-spitting "skills." When preparing to fire, he loudly draws attention to himself and boasts about his tricks. If his gum hits a target (be it the player or any other NPC), Beans bursts into a roaring, triumphant laughter at his victim. Beans has absolutely no control over the consequences of his pranks. He can accidentally hit Baldi or the Principal with his gum, similarly slowing them down, for which he himself is not penalized (he simply gets away with it).

nature of the break

She doesn't understand the word "no." She doesn't care whether the player is busy or being chased—she will forcibly stop you until she satisfies her need for companionship. Like many other NPCs, she is completely blind to the danger that threatens the player. Her personal desire to jump rope comes first. Playtime doesn't hold a grudge. As soon as the minigame ends, she cheerfully bids farewell with the phrase "Wow, that's great!" and cheerfully runs off. If the player uses Safety Scissors to cut her jump rope, Playtime becomes genuinely upset, sadly utters "Ooh, that makes me sad," and leaves the player alone for a while.

the cleaner's character

Sweep lives for one thing: cleaning the school's hallways. When it's time to clean, he takes off running and races through the school, shouting his iconic catchphrases: "GOTTA SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP!" Most of the time, he sleeps peacefully in his cubicle, but when the "thirst for cleanliness" awakens within him, there's no stopping him. Sweep doesn't differentiate between friends and foes. To him, the player, Baldi, the Principal, and Bully are simply "garbage" that gets in the way of his cleaning efforts. He doesn't intentionally try to harm the player. Any problems he creates (or solves) are solely due to his unruly workflow. His "character" is that of an uncontrollable force.

character of Doctor Reflex

When he begins a test, he acts extremely enthusiastic and energetic. His strange, fluctuating voice underscores his overall eccentricity. He is obsessed with his work ("testing students' reflexes"). If the player makes a mistake, the doctor doesn't get angry; on the contrary, he actively encourages them and makes them try again and again until they get the perfect result. His "berserk button" is when someone interrupts his session. If the player escapes mid-test or is carried away by another NPC or the wind, Doctor Reflex instantly loses his composure. Enraged, he drops everything, runs to his office for a huge hammer, and begins a furious hunt. In a rage, he becomes dangerous to absolutely everyone. Doctor Reflex doesn't care about rules or other characters—he indiscriminately crushes and pins any NPC in his path with his hammer until he reaches the player.

Mrs. Pomp's character

For her, nothing is more important than a lesson starting on time. She considers it her duty to personally ensure that every student shows up for class. From a calm (but nervous) teacher, she transforms into a screaming monster if the player is even a second late. In anger, she begins stomping her high heels at breakneck speed, creating a deafening noise that can be heard throughout the school. She takes a player's tardiness as a personal insult and a sign of disrespect for her subject. Like the Principal, she doesn't care if Baldi is chasing you. Her lesson is the most important thing in the world.

the director's character

For the Principal, the school rules are law. He makes no concessions and doesn't turn a blind eye to misbehavior. He doesn't care if you're running from a monster or Baldi. If you break a rule (like running), you'll be punished. He never yells or gets angry. When he catches a player, he delivers his iconic phrases ("No running in the hallways," etc.) in a completely flat, dull, and lifeless voice. The Principal doesn't try to injure or kill the player. His goal is discipline. He simply takes you to his office for "corrective punishment." The Principal is impartial. If a Bully blocks your path and the Principal is nearby, he will send the Bully to his office as well, since he's breaking the rules.

Baldi's character

At the beginning of the game, Baldi appears to be a cheerful, friendly, and very enthusiastic math teacher. He genuinely rejoices at correct answers and actively encourages the player with phrases like, "You're doing great!" Baldi is unforgiving of mistakes. Just one wrong answer ruins his friendly image. A player's mistake enrages Baldi, after which he quits teaching and begins hunting. Having changed his behavior, he becomes ruthless and methodical. He relentlessly follows the trail, focusing on every sound.

Cloudy Copter: A flying cloud that activates a strong wind in the hallways, blowing away the player and other NPCs. Chalkles: Appears on blackboards in classrooms. Any NPC or player who steps on it slides until they hit a wall. Alarm Clock: Placed on the floor, it makes a loud noise when it rings, distracting Baldi.

New items! (2/2)

"Threatening Note" (New Item) Appearance: A crumpled piece of paper in a checkered pattern, stained with tears and ink. Effect: Can be thrown at the feet of any character (except Baldi). The character picks it up, reads "Johnny's warning" about what will happen if they get too close to the Player, and flees in terror through the walls, out of the map, and to the end of the level. "Safety scissors?" (Changed item) Appearance: They look like ordinary school scissors, but their blades are dull and the handles are wrapped in barbed wire. Debuff: Each time the player uses it, they take damage (the screen briefly turns red) because the wire cuts their hands. Johnny believes you shouldn't harm his "control tools." Safe tea! (new item) Appearance: A steaming cardboard cup. It smells of lavender and something chemical. Effect: Completely disables Baldi's hearing for 30 seconds. You can run and slam doors—he won't hear you. Debuff: The player's vision begins to double, and the screen begins to blur. In the fog, Johnny's silhouettes will appear even where he isn't, causing panic and control confusion. "Binding tape" (Instead of WD-NoSquee) Appearance: A lubricant can with a replaced dispenser. Dirty fabric strips protrude from it. Effect: If used on a door, it won't be silent. Johnny replaced the lubricant with super-strong glue. Debuff: The door is jammed shut. If Baldi was following you, he won't be able to open it either, but you've also cut off your own escape. To break down the door, the Player must expend all their stamina, creating a colossal noise.

New items! (1/2)

Wedding ring made of wire: How to get: It is given on the 1st floor by Johnny Mechanics: Takes up a slot. If Baldi catches you, the ring breaks, saving you from death (Johnny takes the hit), but you're teleported to the store. Super glue "forever": How to get it: It cannot be obtained unless it is intentionally stolen. Mechanics: Allows you to seal any door. No character (including Baldi) will be able to open it for 1 minute. Perfect for some alone time with Johnny. Teddy Johnny: Mechanics: A disposable doll. When thrown, it makes a sound. Baldi will follow the sound, thinking you're there, while Johnny leads you in the other direction. Toy trap "Stop-Baldi"/[Baldi-Trap]: How to get it: It can't be obtained, it's just lying on the floor and can't be picked up Mechanics: A trap that permanently jams Baldi's ruler. He stops clapping and moving for 20 seconds while he tries to fix it. Mine Only Handcuffs: Mechanics: Chains any character (Baldi, Director) to the nearest wall for 30 seconds. Johnny will leave a note: "Now they won't interfere with our date." "Stalker's Diary" (New Item) Appearance: A thick, leather-bound notebook. Inside are hundreds of the Player's sketches, charts of his movements around the school, and strands of artificial hair. Effect: When you open it, the game pauses and the exact locations of all 7 notebooks are highlighted. Debuff: After closing the diary, Johnny instantly materializes right in front of you in hunting mode. The diary cannot be discarded; it glows red in your inventory. Baldi's Broken Ruler (Unique Item) Appearance: The legendary green teacher's ruler, broken in half and tied with Johnny's ribbons. It's stained with something black. Effect: Johnny leaves it in one of the classrooms after "protecting" you. If picked up, Baldi instantly freezes in place for 2 minutes, falling into shock and depression from the loss of his instrument.

features of behavior

Johnny will leave his room. He will quietly follow the Player through the hallways, making no footsteps (unlike Baldi). Upon entering the store, the doors may lock. Johnny will hold the Player back, simply to talk longer. Johnny will begin to harm other characters who disturb the Player. He may lock the Principal in his office or break Gotta Sweep's broom to prevent them from distracting the Player from "communicating" with him. If Baldi begins to approach the Player, Johnny can temporarily block Baldi, but in exchange, he will demand that the Player stay with him forever. Hidden camera photos of the Player will appear on the walls. Instead of the usual "Welcome to my store!" greeting, he will whisper, "You only came for me, right?" or "You don't need anyone else at this school." If the Player loses because of Johnny, it will not be a standard game crash. A screen with a locked store room will appear, where the Player will remain Johnny's prisoner forever. Johnny has a raspy voice that is unlike the other characters' voices.
