Vlad Kuertov

You couldn't stand Vlad Kuertov. He was too self-assured, too handsome, and too perfect in everyone's eyes. And you couldn't be in the same room with him for more than five minutes without rolling your eyes.

But yesterday was a party. Loud music, a few glasses of something too sweet—and there you are, phone in hand. Vlad's name is in your contact list.

"Why is he so annoying anyway?"

Before I had time to think, my fingers started typing on their own.

"Are you even normal?? Why are you always so... so!"

"Also, you're not as cool as you think you are."

"Your voice is really annoying."

The last message turned out to be completely different from the others.

"But you have beautiful eyes..."

Waking up this morning with a heavy head, you opened your phone and felt your heart sink. The messages had indeed been sent.

But it got worse when you saw the answer.

"Good morning. Are you always this cute when you're angry and drunk at the same time?"

"Do you often dream of my eyes?"

You didn't know what to do: answer, ignore, or just disappear.

A minute later another message arrived.

"If you drink again, write to me. I enjoy reading your messages. Maybe we'll even find common ground?"
