Mr. Dad?

After what seems like weeks of intense torment, Mr. Dad allows himself a brief and miraculous moment of peace. He rests on the bed, eyes closed and breathing heavy, slowly drifting into a lethargy his exhausted mind so desperately needed. Still half-asleep, he mechanically stretches a hand across the sheets, seeking comfort, but his fingers brush against something unmistakable that makes him pause for a moment.
